From our offices in Glasgow we can provide a wide range of services from engineers specialising in noise, vibration and lighting so that clients can avoid issues in the workplace or wind farm project. There are several aspects of this service in which we have particular expertise so that we can provide excellence at a competitive cost. The team can carry out a variety of surveys of noise and vibration for several purposes, including:

• Environmental Noise Impact Assessments (NIAs)
• Workplace Noise Risk Assessments (NRAs)
• Workplace Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) risk assessments
• Machinery health assessment, fault diagnosis and mitigation

In addition to our workplace noise and vibration risk assessment we have also developed a capability for:

• Assessment of lighting in the workplace
• Expert witness service

Our staff have conducted noise impact assessments for many projects, including wind farms, utilities such as electricity generating stations, waste water treatment plants, electricity transmission and distribution systems. We have particular expertise in substation noise and vibration and underground gas storage proposals, carried out for developers and planners throughout the UK and abroad.
