SgurrEnergy is delighted to announce the opening of our second international office located in Pune, in the western state of Maharashtra, India. The Indian office will be headed up by Arif Aga. Currently a team of three is based at the new office with plans to double staff numbers in the next 12 months. Arif is a graduate electrical engineer from the University of Pune with in excess of 11 years experience. He has been actively involved in design and project consultancy services in renewable energy for the past six years. He has worked on the design and development of grid systems and rural electrification. He has been consulting and energy management engineer for Electrical Systems for various commercial applications like star hotels, shopping malls and hospitals. Arif is backed by Dhananjay Apte and Vrajalal Kanetkar. Dhananjay is a mechanical engineer with specialisms in marine engineering from various systems to gas turbine propulsion and power generation derived from marine ships. Vrajalal is a graduate mechanical engineer from the University of Pune and a Certified Energy Auditor from Bureau of Energy Efficiency with over 38 years experience.
SgurrEnergy has expertise in energy efficiency for the built environment and all renewable energy technologies including wind, bioenergy, hydro, solar power developments. SgurrEnergy India will offer facilitation services for Green Building and LEED ratings.
