We are one of the UK's leading technical advisory organisations specialising in renewable energy, including wind energy, bioenergy, marine energy and waste treatment. In 2006 we opened our first international office in Beijing, China and further international expansion is planned for the near future. Our success to date is based on in-depth technical and engineering knowledge, applied in a practical manner to provide the best possible solutions and advice to our clients.

Owing to continued growth and high demand for its services, the company is now seeking to recruit a high calibre professional with practical experience to head up our expanding bioenergy consultancy team. The ability to manage and advise on multiple projects concurrently from initial assessment, through technical and economic feasibility, to design and project management is essential for success in this role.

The selected candidate will have a degree in science, engineering or equivalent. The role demands practical knowledge of combustion technology, boiler plant design and/or installation. Experience is essential. The successful candidate will have sound IT, excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a flexible and proactive approach to work to thrive in this vibrant organisation.

Candidates who are able to bring vision and commitment and be equally at home on a construction site or in the offices of senior executives are preferred. Applicants must have detailed process and engineering knowledge gained in the bioenergy or conventional generating sector. Candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of achievement and delivery of successful projects in a challenging environment and have the ability to produce comprehensive technical reports.

The selected candidate will head up the bioenergy team with a portfolio of projects for further development, but will be encouraged to find new opportunities in the marketplace.
